Complete story — includes the ending

With the Superhuman Registration Act now in effect and the New Avengers splintering, Jessica Drew finds herself under intense scrutiny from S.H.I.E.L.D., distrusted by her teammates, and still entangled with Hydra, who once restored her powers.

Realizing she can no longer maintain her double life, Jessica makes a decisive break. She confronts Hydra, rejects their attempts to reclaim her, and violently severs her ties to the organization. Seeking clarity and a path forward, she then approaches Nick Fury, delivering Electro’s unconscious body as proof of her loyalty and as a gesture of good faith.

Fury accepts her back into his covert network, offering her a new purpose at a time when the Avengers are falling apart. With the team fractured by the Registration Act and her position among them untenable, Spider-Woman effectively leaves the New Avengers, stepping into the shadows under Fury’s guidance.

Jessica’s future is uncertain, but her allegiance finally chosen — not to S.H.I.E.L.D., not to Hydra, and not to the Avengers, but to Fury alone.
