Complete story — includes the ending
Two weeks ago, Emma had contacted Tony Stark, getting him to meet up with Scott at the destroyed mansion. Shocked at the destruction, Stark asks why he never came to him for help, only for Scott to rebuke that mutant problems tend to get worse when the government gets involved, a lesson they learned long before the Civil War. Stark then states that with all the recent incidents the X-Men were involved in, he is being pressured by his government superiors into putting the X Men into the system. Scott retorts that he came alone to tell him that the X-Men have no interest in joining the Initiative and that he had disbanded the team.
In the present day, Scott, and Emma continue their vacation in Savage Land. At night, the two discuss why they loved Savage Land. They also discuss how they didn't really intend on ending the team, but could not lead it without Xavier. Ka-Zar, and Shanna met up the mutant couple.
Meanwhile, Kurt and Piotr are now in Germany. They meet up with Logan at a bar, then the trio headed to a train station and board a train to Russia.
Back in the Savage Land, the two couples observe a pair of triceratops challenging one another. Emma has a telepathic conversation with Shanna, who notes that Scott is actively studying the duel. Emma reveals that in his mind, Scott is actively thinking of how he would take on both dinosaurs himself. Shanna asks how she can withstand his optic blasts and is told that Emma can turn her skin to diamond, enabling to see his eyes at anytime. Back at their tree house, Scott and Emma disucss about how they wouldn't let anything change their lives.
The next day in San Fransico, Warren flew through the skies, passing a bridge. He e-mailed Scott, who reviewed the message with Emma the next morning. He told Scott about how entire neighborhoods now lived in the 60's, and how he could not locate the others. As he investigates this phenomena, suddenly his attire changes into a 60's outfit. A girl walked over to Warren, convincing him to come to a party.
