The team reinvestigates the 1971 death of Mia Romanov, an 18-year-old circus aerialist when another circus performer comes forward with new evidence that indicates the girl was dead before the accident that supposedly killed her took place. Lilly comes under investigation by Internal Affairs after Moe Kitchener, the man who tried to kill her, is found murdered outside a bar in his car.
